Welcome Reception, March 15

All ICASSP 2010 attendees are invited to join us for the ICASSP 2010 Welcome Reception, Monday, March 15, 18:00 - 20:00. The Welcome Reception will feature the eclectic jazz/media performance group Jampact.

Banquet at the Mesquite Rodeo, March 17

Don’t miss your chance to sign up for the Texas Mesquite Rodeo Adventure, being held March 17, 2010 during the ICASSP Conference in Dallas!

Tickets will not be sold onsite! Our Mesquite Rodeo Adventure at ICASSP promises to be a lot of fun! And we hate to see you miss the event, so please register to participate no later than February 22nd at 5:00 PM (Central Time). Here’s what to look forward to in Dallas:

The Mesquite Rodeo is an exclusive event for ICASSP 2010 participants. We will have an hour and a half private rodeo including cowboys and cowgirls for:
- Saddle Bronco Riding
- Team Roping
- Steer Wrestling
- Bareback Riding
- Barrel Racing
- Bull Riding
- including A Specialty Act and our own Rodeo Clown!
There is also a Mechanical Bull and a rodeo & western wear gift shop on site.
You will be treated to a traditional Texas style Bar-B-Que Dinner with all the trimmings.

Departure from the Dallas Sheraton Hotel to the Mesquite Rodeo starts at 6:30 PM via Deluxe Motor Coach. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Resistol Stadium, site of the Mesquite Rodeo. Here’s the complete schedule:

6:30 PM	Departures from hotel begin
6:50 PM	Arrive at Mesquite Rodeo—buffets, bar and western wear shop open
7:45 PM	Seating for Rodeo Begins at the stadium
8:00 PM	Rodeo begins
9:30 PM	Rodeo ends
9:45 PM	Return to hotel
10:05 PM	Arrive at hotel
